Mission
The mission of the ministry justifies our existence and our specific role in the combine of the Ministry of Defence, and in the central administration.

 
Our mission is:

• To serve the minister and to create the foundation for a visionary Danish policy in the area of defence, security and emergency management, and to exercise the overall management of the combine of the Ministry of Defence.

 
Vision
The vision of the ministry tells of the overall ambitions for our work.

Our vision is:

• Based on the needs of the minister, we will work for further streamlining of our service to the minister, and to be – and be perceived as - visionaries in relation to strategic development as well as coordination, management and control with the combine of the Ministry of Defence.
