Defence attachés and military advisers

The mission of the attachés and advisers is to serve as the ears and eyes of the Danish Ministry of Defence and the Defence Command in a given country or organization.

The attaché is a contact person in matters between Denmark and the host nation. He keeps the Danish authorities informed on current military and defence policy development. The attaché also develops Danish cooperation with the host nation and helps facilitate communication.

Parallel accreditations
A number of defence attachés are also accredited to nations other than their host nation, which means that they also follow developments in these nations.
