A Smarter and Greener Defence: Chairman’s conclusions

On 2-3 May 2012 over 300 dedicated professionals from government, industry and defence from the Nordic countries and from Northern Group countries met at the Bella Center in Copenhagen to discuss how defence may become greener and smarter.

Denmark thus hosted the 4th Nordic Defence Industry Seminar under the auspices of the current Danish chairmanship of the NORDEFCO (Nordic Defence Cooperation). The event was inspirational and promising.

As the conclusions from the seminar reveal there is a real will to - and a substantial potential for - finding more cost-effective and more energy friendly solutions within the defence sector.
