To create the necessary cyber and information security level, Denmark has launched a new Danish National Strategy for Cyber and Information Strategy 2022-2024.

The strategy contains 34 main initiatives to better protect our digital infrastructure and it-systems while at the same time strengthening Denmark’s participation in the international fight against the cyber threat.

The new National Strategy for Cyber and Information Security 2022-2024 builds upon the broad political agreement on a strengthened cyber defence from June of 2021. With the agreement, the government and the agreeing parties created the defence agreement’s cyber reserve of 500 million DKK to strengthen Denmark’s cyber defence.

The National Strategy for Cyber and Information Security there will set new requirements for working with cyber and information security for those public authorities, who are responsible for critical it-systems.
